Mr Luck’s NHS practice is at the Royal United Hospital in Bath, where he runs the anterior segment and the paediatric service, and he has his private practice at the Circle Bath Hospital – recently described by a national newspaper as “One of the finest Hospitals in Britain”. He is currently Senior Examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, and has responsibility for setting and running the FRCOphth Part II examination. He has many years experience of ‘keyhole’ no-stitch cataract surgery and implantation of trifocal lenses to reduce reliance on glasses.
