Mr Bryce is an NHS based surgeon with sub-specialty training in Cataract, Corneal and Refractive Surgery. His specialty training started in Liverpool then Glasgow and Leeds. For 2 years he also held a research appointment in Sunderland/Newcastle working with Excimer lasers and refractive surgery.
Mr Bryce holds appointments to both the Ocular Tissue Advisory Group and Standards Group of the College of Ophthalmologists and the Organ Donation and Transplant organisation.
He is one of the four Ophthalmologists on the General Optical Council (GOC) Educational Committee Visitors Panel and an honorary lecturer to undergraduate Optometrists (Opticians) at the Glasgow Caledonian University.
