For over 25 years Mr Chitkara has established a reputation as one of the leading expert in Refractive or Corrective Eye surgery in UK and Internationally. Graduate of Manchester University Medical School in 1983 \u2013 MBChB with Honours in Physiology and Biochemistry.
\nTrained as an Eye surgeon in Manchester and North East England passing his specialist post- graduate exams and became a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologist (FRCOphth) in 1993. He developed a passion for corrective (refractive) eye surgery during his specialist training in Cornea and Refractive Surgery in USA. The fellowship was completed with distinction under Professor Marguerite McDonald in New Orleans in 1995.
